Help please...

I tried everything with the start menu and dragable things, i dont want that if you press an window that every other goes away...

And if i use the code from opening with on(press){
_root.STARTMENU IDENTIFIER HERE.gotoAndStop(2);
}
It doesnt work
THe IDENTIFIER was Start, so i putted

on(press){
_root.Start.gotoAndStop(2);
}
And it wont work, i tried into the movieclip a new layer...
Doesnt work, out the movieclip a new layer...
